Houthis threaten new attacks in case of displacement of Gazans

US President Donald Trump's plan to relocate Gazans and redevelop the territory has been widely condemned in the Arab world.

Iran-backed Yemeni Houthi rebels have threatened to launch new attacks if the United States and Israel go ahead with their plans to expel Palestinians from Gaza.

"We will take action by launching rockets and drones and naval attacks if the United States and Israel carry out their plan to expel the Palestinians from Gaza," rebel leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi said in a televised speech.

US President Donald Trump's plan to relocate Gazans and redevelop the territory has been widely condemned in the Arab world, AFP reported.

During the war between Israel and Hamas, the Houthis carried out dozens of attacks against Israeli targets and ships in the Red Sea.

"I call on the armed forces to be ready to take military action in the event that the criminal Trump carries out his threat," Houthi said on the rebel Al-Masirah television. | BGNES
