The Material Innovation Initiative (MII), which has campaigned for greater investments in next generation materials to replace animal-based products in fashion and other industries, is to close its doors, EcoTextile reported.

Established in 2019, the MII has championed the adoption of high-performance and environmentally preferable next-gen materials in the fashion and textile industry, cautioning that the industry is key to shifting the world away from reliance on unsustainable material supplies and practices.
