Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic compared himself to US President Donald Trump.

In an interview with the Washington Examiner, Vucic accused CNN of lying about the massive protests against his regime. "CNN speaks against me as it spoke against US President Donald Trump. Dear friends of the United States of America, you will understand everything. The truth is on the opposite side of what CNN is saying," he said.

"You will see that they are doing and saying everything against me, as they said against US President Trump, and then everything will become clear to you," Vucic said in response to a question about what he would like American viewers to know about Serbia as they inform themselves on social networks. Asked what he thought the protesters wanted at this point, Vucic replied that "the protesters have destroyed 186 tractors."

"The only big fight they had was among themselves. Nobody answered them, we didn't want to arrest anybody. In the end, we had to arrest 44 people. 13 people were arrested because they were either drunk or causing violence," Vucic added. I BGNES
