Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan received the chairwoman and Serbian member of the Bosnian Presidential Council, Zeljka Cvijanovic, as well as Bosnian member Denis Becirovic and Croatian member Zeljko Komsic.
The meeting focused on bilateral ties between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as broader regional and global issues, according to Turkey's X Communications Directorate.
The Turkish President underlined Ankara's commitment to maintaining stability in the Balkans and preserving Bosnia and Herzegovina's territorial integrity, sovereignty and constitutional order.
Stressing the importance of preventing a repetition of the tragedies of the past in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Erdogan expressed the expectation that the current crisis in the region will be resolved with minimum damage through an inclusive consensus involving all segments of society.
