Hungary announced its withdrawal from the International Criminal Court (ICC) on the first day of the visit to Budapest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for whom the court has issued an arrest warrant.
"Hungary quits ICC. The government will start the withdrawal procedure in accordance with the international legal framework," Gergely Gulyás, chief of staff to nationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orban, announced on Facebook.
