EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas will visit Montenegro, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina on 7-9 April in her first visit to the Western Balkans, her office's press office said.
In Montenegro, Kallas will meet President Jakov Milatovic and Prime Minister Miloiko Spajic. She will liaise with civil society organisations and participate in a review of equipment funded by the European Peace Support Mechanism, along with the defence minister.
In Albania, High Representative Kallas will meet President Bajram Begai and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Mrs Kallas will also meet Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hassani and Minister for Defence Piro Vengu. She will jointly open the first EU-Albania Security and Defence Dialogue with Ministers Hassani and Wengu. She will also attend the signing of the grant and loan agreements from the European Investment Bank for the development of the Durres-Rogojine railway line.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the High Representative will visit EUFOR Althea troops and meet with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She will also hold talks with the President of the Council of Ministers, Borjana Kristo, and Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic. | BGNES
