Arsenal have been given some great news after it emerged that Bukayo Saka is fit and ready to start in Tuesday night's London derby with Fulham, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has revealed.
The 23-year-old has not played since suffering an hamstring tear in December, but Arteta said "he's ready" to face Fulham after returning to full training.
"Bukayo is ready. The things we had to be careful about have been done, so now it's just a matter of him being on the pitch at the right times. He's motivated and ambitious, he really wants it", said the Arsenal boss, adding that Saka is ready to start from the first minute.
One of the Londoners' key players has been out for more than three months after sustaining an injury in the 5:1 away victory against Crystal Palace. His return comes as Arsenal are 12 points behind leaders Liverpool in the race for the English title. The Gunners are also in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, where they face current holders Real Madrid. | BGNES
