Bulgaria has the highest growth in real estate prices in the European Union, BGNES reported.
Prices in our country increased by 18.3% in 2024 compared to 2023. Among the countries that can boast of an increase in property prices are also Hungary with a growth of 13% and Portugal with 11.6%, according to Eurostat data.
Only two countries registered an annual decline in the fourth quarter of last year: France and Finland (both -1.9%).
In the fourth quarter of 2024, house prices, as measured by the house price index, increased by 4.2% in the euro area and by 4.9% in the EU compared with the same quarter of the previous year. In the third quarter of 2024, house prices increased by 2.7% and 3.9% in the euro area and the EU respectively.
Compared to the third quarter of 2024, in the fourth quarter of 2024, house prices increased by 0.6% in the euro area and by 0.8% in the EU. І BGNES
