Angelina Jolie wants to make new friends in Hollywood and befriend Nicole Kidman and Demi Moore to get revenge on her ex-husband Brad Pitt, the Daily Mail reports.

As noted by an insider, Jolie, who is usually arrogant and rarely interacts with anyone, has been acting friendly and trying to make new connections recently.

"Angelina knows what she's doing, it's intentional. She's reaching out to the Hollywood community to make new friends. And she likes that! She loves making new friends and shows respect to her celebrity acquaintances," the source said. 

"She doesn't sit at home pouting, she comes out to every event smiling, which is really great of her," he added. 

Earlier, another source revealed that Jolie, who did not receive an Oscar nomination for her role in the Maria Callas movie, believes Pitt is to blame: Hollywood was on his side. 

"It just shows that Hollywood is on Brad's side. "The Golden Globes showed that overseas they love her, but it's not Hollywood. No one was going to go against Brad and give Angelina a voice. People just love Brad," the source shared.

Western tabloids have also noted that Jolie's life hasn't been going well lately: her son Pax suffered another accident, she wasn't nominated for an Oscar, and the court battle with Pitt over the family winery has yet to be resolved.
