Maria Bakalova will play a hitman for hire in Sylvester Stallone's next film.

The action film "My Masterpiece" will be shot in Canada, with filming expected to begin in late summer. The Sly-produced film was delayed because of the 1993 Hollywood writers' strikes.

Bakalova's heroine is a hired killer who will not only have to deal with her workshop colleagues, but also with her past to ensure justice prevails. 

The film will be the feature film directorial debut for Cassandra Brooksbank and the screenplay is by Jason Hellerman. Balboa Productions, founded in 2018 by Stallone and Brayden Aftergood, has already produced several box-office hits, including the super-hero film Samaritan and the TV series Tulsa King. I BGNES
