The US Embassy in Bulgaria said it agreed with Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov that Sofia and Washington should continue their cooperation in many areas.
"We agree, Mr Prime Minister, and look forward to continuing our successful cooperation in many areas to strengthen our common strength, security and prosperity," the US Embassy said.
The diplomatic statement came after Zhelyazkov and US Vice President J.D. Vance met at the Artificial Intelligence Summit in Paris on February 11.
"Deepening the strategic partnership between the United States and Bulgaria should be a top priority for our new governments," the Bulgarian prime minister said, pointing out that the Bulgarian INSAIT Institute is already working on a number of new technologies together with leading international companies such as Goggle, Amazon and others. | BGNES
