Tesla has stopped taking new orders for Model S and Model X vehicles on its Chinese website.
Both models are made in the US and imported into China. New orders for both models are also no longer available on the automaker's WeChat mini-program in China, Reuters reports.
Although the company gave no reason for the move, it comes at a time when China and the US are embroiled in an escalating trade war.
