Actress Millie Bobby Brown has said she wants to play singer Britney Spears in a movie.
The 21-year-old British star is best known for her role as Eleven/Jane Ives-Hopper in Netflix's hit sci-fi drama Stranger Things.
But it seems the 43-year-old singer's role is high on her wish list for future projects as she develops her career away from the Netflix series.
"Nothing would make me happier than to be able to play such an iconic, beautiful person. I leave that to the gods," she said in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight.
Her latest comment came shortly after she told Access Hollywood about her ambition to play Spears in a big screen biopic.
Brown told the publication that she "would love nothing more than to be a part of her story." The TV star added: "I would want someone to recreate her in the most beautiful way and I would always be open to that."
Millie's comments come after fans hinted that she had subtly paid tribute to Spears in her recent photo shoots. Photos of the actress with blonde locks and a white top were compared to well-known images of the pop star.
This year, Brown will finally retire from Stranger Things, as the show's fifth and final season will hit Netflix. That will happen nine years after its July 2016 debut | BGNES
