Snoop Dogg, Justin Bieber and Steve Carell at a charity hockey event for the Los Angeles wildfires

Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, Ross Lynch, Danny DeVito and Kobe Smulders will also appear at the event, while musical guests will include Kaskade, Jordan Davis and Lauren Spencer-Smith.

Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, Steve Carell and more are among those taking part in a charity hockey game to help LA rebuild from the devastating wildfires earlier this year, NME reports.

"Skate For LA Strong: A Celebration to Support the Fire Recovery Efforts in Los Angeles" will kick off later today (Feb. 23) at Crypto.com Arena, with all proceeds being donated to the Red Cross, the LA Fire Foundation, Cal Fire Foundation and Eaton Canyon Fire Relief and Recovery Fund.

According to the Los Angeles Kings website, the exhibition features four teams made up of 13 players. Each team's roster will include a mix of celebrities, National Hockey League (NHL) alumni and hockey players. Tickets to the game are free to all firefighters, health officials and victims affected by the wildfires.

Also appearing at the event will be Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, Ross Lynch, Danny DeVito and Kobe Smulders, and musical guests will be Kaskade, Jordan Davis and Lauren Spencer-Smith.

Fans noted that both Bieber and Carell are experienced players, joking that "The Bieber/Carell line will be unstoppable," while others expressed mild disappointment that DeVito, who is coaching the event, won't take the ice.

The Canadian-born pop star has appeared in celebrity games before, playing in the NHL All-Star Game in Toronto last year. Meanwhile, Carell played hockey at the college level as a goalie, and his skills also appeared on "The Office" in an episode that director Paul Feig later claimed "turned the whole show on its head."

The charity match was the latest in a series of star-studded charity events to raise funds for those affected by the fires. Since the devastating fires swept through Los Angeles in early January, some 29 people have died and thousands of other homes and businesses have been destroyed.

Joni Mitchell gave a rare public performance at the LA FireAid benefit show, while Billy Eilish and Green Day teamed up for a live performance of "Last Night On Earth" and No Doubt came together to perform some of their hits.

The live members of Nirvana also made a surprise appearance, joined by St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett and Dave Grohl's daughter Violet on vocals.

Lady Gaga also shared a new song directly inspired by the wildfires on FireAid titled "All I Need Is Time". Similarly, many musicians have joined in to help the affected communities after the fires.

BeyGOOD, Beyoncé's foundation, donated $2.5 million to help the relief efforts. Paris Hilton also launched a fund for families displaced by the fires, pledging $100,000 and up to $100,000 in donations.

Dave Grohl also spent his birthday making food for affected families. | BGNES
