Italian designer Maria Grazia Chiuri presented on the first day of Paris Haute Couture Week what could be her last collection for Dior.
Feather-adorned models walked the runway in retro draped skirts or short crinolines paired with lace, feathers or long fringe.
Lace skirts and capes resembling flower petals also appeared alongside dresses and coats inspired by the iconic silhouette created by Yves Saint Laurent for Dior in 1958, AFP reported.
The spring-summer 2025 collection is inspired by "the creativity of past centuries" and aims to "disrupt the order of time".
The show in the gardens of the Rodin Museum was attended by a star-studded audience including former model and singer Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, US actresses Pamela Anderson and Anya Taylor-Joy and French actress Camille Cotten.
It has been rumored for months that British designer Jonathan Anderson may leave Loewe and take over at Dior. Both brands are owned by the French company LVMH.
Speculation has been fuelled by Anderson's absence from recent fashion weeks in Milan, Paris and London. | BGNES
