Bulgarian government survives second vote of no confidence.

The Bulgarian government, headed by Rosen Zhelyazkov, remains in power after the second vote of no confidence against it was unsuccessful, BGNES reported. 

"71 MPs voted in favour, 131 - against, with no abstentions. A revote was requested, with 72 MPs voting in favour and 130 against.

GERB leader Boiko Borisov said the government would continue to function as a minority cabinet.

The next sitting of the National Assembly will be an on 29 April. Speaker Natalia Kiselova reminded MPs that a new motion of no confidence on the same grounds could be made in six months' time. | BGNES
