Military columns will pass through Bulgaria to participate in Steadfast Dart exercise.

The movement of personnel and military equipment will be carried out along the republican road and railway infrastructure of Bulgaria from Romania towards Greece and Turkey.

Air transport will also be used, the Ministry of Defense indicates. The movement will take place in stages until March 20. And the military convoys will be escorted by teams of the "Military Police" service. Romania, Greece and Bulgaria are hosting the exercise, in which over 10,000 military personnel and military equipment from 9 countries are participating. In our country, the exercise took place at the "Tsrancha" training ground, Bezmer, the Naval Base in Burgas, the "Charalitsa" training complex, the "Elena" aviation training ground, "Koren".

Until next Friday on "Koren" the Land Forces are conducting the tactical live fire exercise "BULWARK", related to the NATO exercise Steadfast Dart.

Next week military columns will pass in the direction of Haskovo - Sofia - Gyueshevo border checkpoint. The movement is due to the rotation of the mechanized company in the Bulgarian contingent in the NATO stabilization force in Kosovo (KFOR). I BGNES
