The Constitutional Court of Bulgaria has ruled on the case on the legality of the elections to the 51st National Assembly, reports BGNES.
The court declared the election of 16 MPs plus one more, who stood in place of an elected minister, illegal.
The court rejected the request for a complete annulment of the vote, which took place on October 27, 2024.
The decision will lead to a change in the composition of the current parliament.
The Central Election Commission is now to determine the results of the election, announcing the distribution of seats and the names of the elected MPs. | BGNES
