Supporters and members of the Bulgarian far-right party "Revival" set fire to the door of the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria, BGNES reported.
A protest against Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone was carried out in front of the EC building, which was doused with red paint and pelted with eggs.
A man in the crowd tried to break the windows of the facade with a huge hammer, but police officers stopped him.
