Hundreds of federal health care workers, including doctors in senior management positions, are out of work as the Trump administration cuts agencies charged with regulating food and drugs, protecting Americans from disease and researching new treatments and cures, the New York Times reported. 

Workers said the notifications began arriving at 5 a.m. and affected offices responsible for everything from global health to medical devices and communications. 

Others found they were fired when they tried to scan their badges to enter their workplaces. | BGNES
