In the meeting Zhelyazkov thanked Zelensky for the fruitful conversation on the common goal of achieving a just and lasting peace. Earlier, Zelensky wrote that he had a meaningful conversation with the Bulgarian Prime Minister, in which he expressed gratitude for Bulgaria's unwavering support for Ukraine. "We deeply appreciate the solidarity of the Bulgarian people," Zelensky wrote, sowing that the two had discussed ways to achieve a just and lasting peace for Ukraine. "A key element of this is security guarantees, which will only work if they are shared and supported by all our partners."
