Animal torturers are psychopaths and their place is not among other people. However, let them leave it to the people's love to see true retribution for their acts.
This was said by protesters who once again gathered in front of the Court House in the capital demanding the harshest punishments for sadists and animal abusers, a BGNES reporter reported.
Once again, the protesters demanded that the torturers from Pernik - Gabriela Sasova and Krasimir Georgiev, who killed hundreds of innocent animals for money, receive the harshest punishments. Citizens at the protest called for legal changes to introduce harsher penalties for these crimes.
People carried placards bearing slogans such as "I am For" punishment through imprisonment of people who abuse, neglect or kill animals. What about you?"; "Only a coward hurts those who cannot defend themselves"; "Today the victim is the animals, tomorrow it could be the children", etc.
Yesterday such demonstrations were held in Kardzhali and Varna, and today there is a protest in Plovdiv.
The protesters are demanding a permanent detention order for the two detainees, as well as a lawful and timely trial and fair sentences.
Meanwhile, more than 160 civil society organizations have demanded immediate and concrete action against animal cruelty, and Justice Minister Georgi Georgiev and NGOs have already proposed increasing penalties for sadism against animals.
BGNES reminds that 26-year-old Gabriela Sasova and 35-year-old Krasimir Georgiev are accused of filming horrific videos of animal abuse in exchange for money. The Pernik District Court remanded the two defendants in custody.
Sasova and Georgiev filmed the brutal videos on the orders of "clients" from around the world and were paid in cryptocurrency and through various online platforms. I BGNES
