The famous British musician Bob Geldof, one of the organisers of Live Aid, supported the student protests in Serbia, reported BGNES.
"We are proud to be playing at EXIT on July 10, one of the last remaining independent festivals, to celebrate your 25th anniversary. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Live Aid and we are deeply impressed by what the students of Serbia are doing in their fight for justice, just as Live Aid tried to do 40 years ago. So of course we support the students in Serbia, we support the EXIT festival. We have always played music that expresses freedom, change and justice. And we're going to do that on July 10 at the EXIT festival. We are with you," Bob Geldof said in a video address.
Spanish DJ Indira Paganotto also supported the student protests against Aleksandar Vucic's regime. On her Instagram account, which has almost two million followers, she shared a video of the 15 March demonstration in Belgrade, accompanied by a message: 'My Serbian people, your hermana (sister) is with you in your fight for justice and freedom! I look forward to seeing you soon!" | BGNES
