The Macedonian Bulgarian Dragi Karov from Veles has been subjected to police repression on vague charges, BGNES reported.
This morning, on the eve of March 3, police "congratulated" him on Bulgaria's National Day - he was called to give clarifications.
Karov was outraged a month ago by a director at a local TV station who spewed propaganda against Bulgarians. The man in question filed a complaint against Karov for "hate speech."
Karov revealed what was happening to BGNES: "I wrote a comment to him about his position, saying that he was a colonist, an collaborator of the security services in the former Yugoslavia, a Bulgarian hater who was creating a conflict against Bulgarians and Bulgarian identity. He told me that he would sue me and I replied - go ahead."
"The Serbo-Communist Titoist thugs here are working for the interests of Serbia and Russia. They are everywhere - in the services, on TV, in the Court, among politicians. This is an attack on Bulgaria. They know with whom they are dealing no matter how much they threaten me. And I will give my life for Mother Bulgaria," Karov emphasized.
Dragi Karov said during questioning today that he does not spread any hate speech: "On the contrary, they use hate speech and work against the interests of Macedonia, they work for rapprochement with Serbia and Russia. They do not want us to speak out as Bulgarians."
Asked by BGNES why he was called by the police on 3 March, he explained, "I know and they know why. It is clear to everyone. Many times they wanted to liquidate me, but I am not afraid of them.
My grandfather, my father and I have suffered continuously since 1945 until today, we have been terrorized by the Serbo-Communist bandits, but we have remained and will remain Bulgarians."
"I am not so angry with these bandits as with the Bulgarian authorities who only talk and do nothing. They are supposedly protecting us. How and in what way are they protecting us? I defend myself, but there are people who are afraid," he continued.
Draghi Karov calls on the Bulgarians in North Macedonia "not to be afraid and to embrace the Serbian mentality". We are here today, tomorrow we may be gone. But the most important thing is 1300-year-old Bulgaria and the Bulgarian nation. It is our pride and dignity to die for it."
Karov wants support from Bulgarians in Bulgaria because "Macedonism is going away and dying". Whether they call themselves VMRO-DPMNE or SDSM (politicla parties in North Macedonia), they are loyal servants of Belgrade. That is why Bulgaria and Bulgarian politicians must give us support." | BGNES
