Russian and US officials will meet in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, February 18. They will discuss the "restoration" of bilateral ties and should prepare the ground for a "possible" ceasefire in Ukraine and a summit between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. 

"Today (Foreign Minister Sergei) Lavrov and (Putin adviser) Yury Ushakov will fly to Riyadh and the next day they are expected to meet the Americans, primarily devoted to the restoration of the whole complex of Russian-American relations," Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov was quoted as saying by AFP.

"Also, the meeting will be devoted to possible negotiations on resolving the Ukraine problem and arranging a meeting between the two presidents," he added. | BGNES
