A paparazzi learned the hard way that Jennifer Lopez is not to be trifled with when it comes to her children.
The star attended the Broadway premiere of Othello on Sunday night (March 23) with her 17-year-old child, Emme.
An exclusive source told Paige Six that Lopez was in full "mama bear" mode when a paparazzo got too close to them as they were leaving the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
The spy witnessed a "huge paparazzi camera" stand between Lopez and Emme. When the lens ended up in the teen's face, Lopez, 55, "screamed at the guy," the source revealed.
"She became a mama bear," he shared.
Except for the incident with the photographer, Lopez and Emme seem to have had a great time.
"Othello premiere with the best partner in life", the Grammy nominee wrote on Instagram the next day, sharing a video of them having fun.
Lopez's conflict with the paparazzi wasn't the only drama that played out Sunday night. TV host and comedian Sherri Shepherd revealed that an "unnamed celebrity" tried to approach her.
Shepard claimed on her show Monday morning (March 24) that the star grabbed her arm, "then turned her around forcefully... and told her, 'You're overshadowing me a lot'."
"She walked up to me in front of everybody... You have no goddamn right to do that to me," Shepherd said.
A rep for Shepherd has not commented on the case, but Paige Sixx's sources say the star may be actress Nia Long, who did not immediately respond.
The star unveiling was attended by celebrities such as Martha Stewart, Samuel L. Jackson, Tamron Hall, Jamie Lee Curtis, Christina Baranski, former President Joe Biden and former First Lady Jill Biden, who received a standing ovation during the show. Later, they partied with the cast, including Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, at the Tavern on the Green. | BGNES
