On December 13, reports surfaced that rapper Kanye West and his wife Bianca Cenzori had split.

The couple has separately sought legal counsel in connection with the divorce, entertainment website TMZ reported, and the Daily Mail reported that Cenzori, 30, has agreed to pay $5 million. 

The announcements come just days after the couple caused a stir with a head-turning red carpet appearance in which Censori paraded nude. 

That appearance at the Grammy Awards raised fears that the 47-year-old rapper and music producer was coercing his wife, who has often been seen half-naked during their two-year marriage. 

A few days later, West, who now calls himself Ye, launched a multi-day tirade on X. He called himself a "Nazi" and claimed he had "power over" his wife.

"I don't make her do anything she doesn't want to, but she definitely wouldn't be able to do it without my approval," the rapper wrote in a post without capitalization punctuation.

The account disappeared late last week, though it was unclear whether it was pulled by X or was voluntarily closed.

West's website Yeezy.com was shut down this week after it began selling only T-shirts with a swastika on the front.

E-commerce service provider Shopify said it had removed the site because the retailer had "breached our terms and conditions".

On December 13, the URL only showed the apparently handwritten message "Yeezy stores coming soon."

West - who has previously spoken of living with bipolar disorder and now says he is autistic - was previously married to reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
