Vucic: Bulgaria is an important neighbour for Serbia, I will have a personal meeting with Radev, it is scary around Republika Srpska

"It would be important for us for Bulgaria, as our important neighbour, to be at Expo 2027," Vucic noted.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated in Sofia that Bulgaria is a very important neighbour for Serbia and asked our country to participate in Expo 2027, which will be held in Belgrade, BGNES reports.

"I had sincere talks with Rumen Radev and the President of Slovenia. I had long talks with Zoran Milanovic and Jakov Milatovic, I also met with King Abdullah II, and tomorrow we will have dinner. When we finish the dinner, I will also have talks with Rumen Radev, a bilateral meeting with the President of Bulgaria, which is of great importance for us," Vucic said.

"It would be important for us for Bulgaria, as our important neighbour, to be at Expo 2027," Vucic noted.

Commenting on the security situation in the region, Vucic said the most important thing was to preserve stability at a time when every word has come under scrutiny.

"That is why it is important to guarantee peace and security for every citizen. These are the most complicated times in the last 50, 60 years. For this reason we are going more and more powerfully with Hungary. We are not making a political counter, but we are deeply and meaningfully trying to give answers to security challenges. Everything that is happening around Republika Srpska is a challenge for us, a scary challenge," he stressed.

Vucic clarified that his delegation includes the head of Serbia's Military Intelligence.

"We will raise our issues, but it is most important to preserve peace and stability and see which way we will go forward," the Serbian president said. | BGNES
