I firmly oppose Bulgaria sending troops to Ukraine in any form. I expect the Government and the National Assembly to state a clear and unequivocal position that Bulgaria will not send troops. 

This is what Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said, BGNES reported.

"If you remember, the big issue I raised at the beginning of the war in Ukraine was to prevent Bulgaria from getting involved in it. Today, against the backdrop of the collapsing global security architecture, this issue is even more urgent," the head of state stated.
