"Serbia is a candidate country and is negotiating EU membership. This means that the country must move with the EU acquis, including alignment with the Common Foreign and Security Policy and restrictive measures against Russia.
Serbia as a reliable European partner must share the same principles and values." This is stated in a written response of the European Commission spokesperson sent to Voice of America Radio on the occasion of yesterday's conversation between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Vucic himself said he discussed, among other things, the renewal of the gas agreement that expires on May 31, the resolution of the issue of NIS/Serbia's oil company, which is owned by Gazprom, ed. Vucic boasted that he and Putin had also discussed the "colour revolutions".
Vucic also confirmed that he will attend the 80th anniversary of the victory in World War II, which will take place in Moscow on 9 May. I BGNES
